Day 1. Fly to Rio de Janeiro
Fly from London Heathrow to Rio on the overnight flight.
Day 2. In Rio
Met on arrival and transfer to the Marina all suites for 2 nights in the onix suite with an ocean view on a b&b basis.
Day 3. In Rio
A free day for personal exploration. We would suggest visiting Corcovado Mountain, which has the statue of Christ the Redeemer perched on the top, followed by a visit to the famous Sugarloaf mountain to watch the sun set over Rio the mountain is only accessible by cable car.
Day 4. Fly to Salvador
Met and transferred to the airport for your flight to Salvador. Met on arrival and transfer to the Casa do Amarelindo hotel for 2 nights in a deluxe room on a b&b basis.
Day 5. In Salvador.
One of Brazil’s most historic cities with a strong African Influence. The city centre is a mix of old, modern, rich and poor and is a fascinating place to explore. We would suggest a city tour today to give you some orientation of the city including a visit to the Sao Marcelo fortress and the Modelo handicraft market.
Day 6. Fly to Morro do Sao Paulo
Met and transferred to the airport for your flight to Morro do Sao Paulo, depart 08:00 arrive 08:25. Met on arrival and transfer to the Anima hotel for 7 nights in a superior bungalow on a b&b basis.
Days 7-12. In Morro do Sao Paulo
In Morro do Sao Paulo, free for personal exploration. The island has no cars, tractors and wheelbarrows are the only form of transportation! The island has a variety of activities available; from horse riding, exploring the small villages and colonial architecture or simply relaxing on one if the islands beaches.
Day 13. Fly London
Met and transferred to the airport for your flight to Salvador, where you will connect with your flight to Sao Paulo. Connect with your return international overnight flight to London
The itinerary outlined above will cost approximately £1,648 per person and includes all services on a private basis, accommodation and taxes, private transfers, flights to and from Morro do Sao Paulo and meals where mentioned.
In addition the cost of the international flight from London and your internal flights in Brazil will be approximately £900 per person including U.K. taxes.
